General Features: The object we supplied from Dundas company will improve your pages visuality. All of the visual operations made from objects wizard. With the changes you made with the wizard you can add many Input/Output variable to the legend. When wizard closed by detecting all Input/Output points WinTr defines Tags as “Not Set”.Next step you must specify this tags. Visual properties transferred and reads from file by Import Export command. So you can share your chart with other applications. Unfortunately object wizard is not capable to use all properties of the object. Because object has thousends property. For this reason Dundas company produced free Chart builder as a second wizard. You can download this program from www.dundas.com. By designing a chart with WinTr or Chart Builder you can transfer them to each other by Import Export commands. WinTr uses Dundas Chart Professional version. It is possible to make a chart with a chart builder that not supported by this version. Such situation WinTr does not allow to import this file. You can see proffessional version features at this link: http://www.dundas.com/Products/Chart/NET/Features/index.aspx. You can save the chart to a file or print it by right clicking on the chart on the runtime. Later many operations can made by opening the file with chart builder.
Unfortunately working on the chart a little bit complex. We tried to make the operations automatically as possible. Infiltrating data is the first of these. For example: You want to see a long period like a one year on the chart. WinTr gets a record at each second approximately. It will collect 31,536,000 data in a year. Monitoring this data makes CPU very busy. Even it monitored pixel number on the screen will not be sufficient. According to chart area and pixel number WinTr calculates data number to show. Then request datas from SQL server at given period. Thus one data for each pixel fetched from database.
By area zooming you can see the chart more detailed. At that moment area directly zoomed then detailed datas fetched from SQL server according to new area. This process can continue until chart reached most detailed level. Thus when very much amount data monitored it is possible to monitor with smallest details.
Monitored Chart style used for transferring to file and printing operations. Charts uses more CPU unfortunately. 3D charts more than that. If chart area increases the CPU use increase. Display adapter memory should be choosen correctly if many chart used. Shared memory display adapters should not be used for SCADA applications.

Tool Tip: You can write the information text for show to user when mouse over the object.
Style: Selection can be made as "Standart" or "XY Chart".
Local: When "Local" selected chart datas fetched from database which belongs this project on same computer.
Remote: If datas fetched from remote computer "Remote" should be checked. When you install more than one WinTr station, each station can create a chart from other station's saved datas. The additional information at the below is needed when remote option selected.
There is an important issue on remote working. If remote machine cannot be reached, related chart will be disabled. If page open again, will be tryed to establishing a connection again. First unsuccessful connection attempt will cause short time freeze on screen. Repeat of freezing removed by disabling chart. Establishing network over internet may cause short-time freezing on the system. For preventing system from this situation, page refresh period should be determined a bit long and remote machine charts should be located at separate scada pages.
Server Address: The information for SQL Server that will be connected. If database located on same computer, here should be "WINTR". If it is at the computer which is on local network, you should write “COMPUTERNAME\WINTR”. If connection will be made over Internet, it should be “IP ADDRESS\WINTR,TCP PORT NO”.
Server Database: You should write here database name that will be connected. You can see the database name the WinTR project uses at the remote machine from SQL Server tab at control panel.
User Name: Enter here WinTr named database servers username which at the server computer. Default username is "sa".
Password: Enter here WinTr named database servers password which at the server computer. Default password is "12341234"
Connect Server: For testing the configuration, when you press this button and have no error means connection established.

Note: There is some settings that should made at remote machine for local or remote network connections.
Firewall settings: Firewall can be disabled or made exception. For creating firewall exception: On the control panel open firewall. Uncheck "Don't allow exceptions". At exceptions tab click "add program". Allow “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe” program and “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\sqlbrowser.exe” program.
SQL Server remote connection permissions: Open Start-Programs-Microsoft SQL Server 2005-Configuration Tools, SQL Server Surface Area Configuration program. Click “Surface Area Configuration for service and connection”. Click Remote connection under the WINTR. Allow Local and remote connection. Make "automatic" startup service under SQL Browser service.
Run Start-Programs-Microsoft SQL Server 2005-Configuration Tools-SQL Server Configuration Manager. Make sure running SQL Server Browser and WINTR.
Accessing over Internet: Above instructions should be operated. Additionaly port routing should be made on ADSL modem.

Value: Value of the object.
Xaxis: X axis operations made from here.
Xaxis Chart Area: Many chart area can be reside inside the same chart object. Each chart area can have one X Axis Tag. Pie graphics don’t have X Axis. Select graphic area from this combobox.
Xaxis Tag: Select X Axis tag for selected graphic area above.
Xaxis Data Size: X axis size set from here.
Xaxis Time Type: This Combobox become visible when you select the chart type as DateTime from the wizard. Other cases not used. You can select X Axis data size type from this Combobox  which you will specify at next step.
Cons. or Tag.: X axis data size can be constant value. It can be changed by the operators from the program by connecting to the tag. You must select this combobox as a tag to do this.
Value or Tag: If you select above selection as a Constant you can write X axis data size here. Select appropriate Tag for the chart type if you selected as tag.
Note: The series and X axis tag you used in the chart must be historical. X axis data type must be numeric and don’t have to be SQL connection.
